Animals receive this element from plants, which in its turn borrow it from the soil.

If intensively exploited soil is not consistently fertilized with the phosphorus in the form of natural or chemical fertilizers, the soil yields will be reduced.

Phosphate rock is used primarily as a raw material for the production of high-quality fertilizers such as NP, NPK, MAP, DAP.
